Lester's alone with his thoughts in a waiting room

After some potentially disastrous confusion, Marla convinced Lester to try out therapy to deal with his relationship problems.

Surely he'll handle it well...

Transcript

Panel 1
At a dingy, graffiti-laden strip mall Lester's silhouette can be seen in a business called "West End Therapy." In the business' window they have a sign that says, "CHRONIC AMNESIACS: Get your 2nd session free!”

Panel 2
In a wind-angle, top-down view, Lester is seen sitting on a chair in a row, alone, waiting for his appointment in the therapist office's waiting room. There's a poster on the wall and several magazines on a low table in front of him.
Lester (thought bubble): God damn it, man.

Panel 3
A closeup of one of the posters in the room show's a clown with his eyes closed and the text "CALM."
Lester (continued): What am I doing here?

Panel 4
A closeup of the magazines on the table. One of them, called "Vague," shows Sasquatch wearing a beret and holding a baguette. It reads "French Sasquatch."
Lester (continued): This was a bad idea.

Panel 5
A closeup of Lester's face as he looks at the closed door which leads to the therapist's office.
Lester (continued): Any second now some mind wizard in a pastel dress shirt's gonna come through that door and start unscrewing my shit.

Panel 6
Lester looks up at his thought bubble which shows an exaggerated version of himself with a much more damaged ear, lying on a chaise lounge in front of a therapist.
Lester's self image: I unironically love ska-punk!

Panel 7
Lester makes a mad dash for the door.
Lester (thought bubble): Nope! Gotta get the hell out of here. Go somewhere he'll never find me. Start a new life as a forest hermit.

Panel 8
The therapist opens the door to his office, looking at Lester who has his back to him. Lester looks distressed.
Therapist: Hey, Lester? Come on in.
Lester (thought bubble): Fuck.
